The GPS-Buddies project has reached the stage of Beta Release and we are now setting up our Beta Testing Community.

You will need a Nokia from the S60 series to use the software, you can view the list of compatible devices for GPS-Buddies in first release.

Intensive internal “Alpha-Testing” by GPS-Buddy and its contractors, is now complete. We are happy to announce that the final hardware specifications have been approved, and that we are now tooling up for mass-production. Also, the product’s firmware is now ready for massive beta testing in real-life scenarios out in the field.

The development and production of CONNECT promotion materials, folders, manuals, packaging etc. has also started. You can have a first look via the following links:

> Temperature Monitoring

In collaboration with Euroscan, GPS-Buddy has developed a solution that enables the PRO to be connected to their temperature monitoring devices.

> GPS-BUDDY has officially opened its doors in North America!

	Last month, our office in Boston, opened its doors for the first time. In anticipation of the launch of the GPS-Buddy CONNECT during the 2008 International CES in Las Vegas next January, we introduced GPS-Buddy to the North American marketplace at the SEMA Show earlier this month.
Here we gave the audience a preview of what the GPS-Buddy CONNECT can mean to the fleet management and tracking & tracing industries.
The SEMA Show, which is not open to the general public, is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world and took place in Las Vegas. For four days, we were engaged in countless discussions with distributors, resellers, potential customers, car manufacturers, and members of the media.

Not only was the response overwhelming, the GPS-Buddy CONNECT also won a SEMA Global Media Award in the Best New Product category. The SEMA Global Media Award winners are selected from over two thousand new products by a jury of 50 automotive journalists and editors from all over the world, and we are very excited and encouraged by the instant recognition we received.

In the weeks running up to the International CES (January 7-10- 2008), we expect to establish a thorough network of distributors and resellers in the US, Canada and points south. EUROPEAN ROAD TRANSPORT SHOW
Amsterdam, The Netherlands

ERTS Amsterdam was organized by DTT Netherlands and was also a great success. The stand was really impressive and we had a team of 15 present there.

One of the 40 TukTuks of the Taxi project sponsored by GPS-Buddy was displayed at the stand. All TukTuks are equipped with a GPS-Buddy PRO and a Garmin navigational device.

Now that Garmin Mobile XT is available separately, without Mobile 10 or 20, the possibility to launch the INTEGRATOR Software on the market increases.
