> INTEGRATOR Software on HTC P3600

Up to now we have been using the HTC 3300 to run the INTEGRATOR Software. However, during this time we have noticed that running this software with other applications was slowing down the device. Testing has shown that the HTC P3600 produces much better results than the HTC P3300 if you want to run other software as well as the INTEGRATOR Software. With a faster processor and larger internal memory, the P3600 offers a more stable and better performing environment for use as a navigation and tracking device.

> GPS-Buddy Sleep Mode

Newer GPS-Buddy devices will have the ability to go into sleep mode.  During sleep mode, the unit will switch off completely and use almost no power. It will also stop sending data to the servers. 

The benefits of this sleep mode include:

• reduced risk of flat battery issues over longer periods, as the unit will only consume power when a vehicle is mobile.
• lower costs for data transfer connections, as the unit will only send data when a vehicle is mobile.

> GPS-Buddy Battery Mode

A new icon in GPS-Buddy Webservices now indicates when a unit switches from its permanent external power source to its own internal backup battery.

> Extended API Service

As you already know, the GPS-Buddy API service offers your customers a way of utilizing GPS-Buddy data in their daily business functions 24/7/365. In the new API version, the registering of movement data has been extended with the ability to register text messages.

> INTEGRATOR Updater Tool

The INTEGRATOR Updater tool is now available and downloadable from the INTEGRATOR Software Website. As with all other web updaters, all you need to do is download the software once to your PC. To check if your unit has the most recent software version, simply connect it to your PC and the INTEGRATOR Updater tool will automatically check for and install the newest software version on your device. Detailed instructions are also available on the INTEGRATOR website.

> New Login Location!

	The new GPS-Buddy Splash page will be online before the end of September. This means that the www.gps-buddy.com you are used to will soon look very different! The normal procedure to log in will also change as your login box will have moved to the homepage of the commercial product website.
	Don’t panic, for the first few weeks there will be an information message available on this page that clearly explains where your customers can login. Discover How To Login here.

> GPS-Buddy LEASESHOP launched in The Netherlands

	Our GPS-Buddy colleagues in the Netherlands have started a leaseshop. This shop allows their customers, not only to buy, but also to rent tracking devices.
